The Business Studies Team offers a variety of courses to suit students of all abilities and interests at Key Stage 4. The department have two newly furnished dedicated classrooms all fitted with computer stations for students' use and projectors with interactive whiteboards. Lessons involves a mixture of written, verbal, creative, research and computer based activities.

The team currently teaches over 200 students in years 10 and 11. Many of the students taking business qualifications use their enthusiasm for the subject to go on to further Education to study Business and Economics related courses at many of our local colleges. The department's results have been very pleasing in recent years, including this year 65% of our  GCSE Business Studies students achieved an A*-C. In GCSE Applied Business 88% of our students achieved an A*-C, 65% of these were A*/A grades.
