Lyndon became a Foundation school with a Trust in January 2009 and since then we have strengthened and developed our links with each of our Trust Partners: Jaguar Land Rover, Birmingham City University, The Sixth Form College Solihull, Solihull Local Authority, John Lewis Partnership and Bullivant Media.
The following is from the Trust school Expression of Interest form:
The vision of Lyndon School Humanities College for Trust status is to build on our continuing good practice and move to an outstanding learning environment, raising attainment at all levels(regardless of student background). This to be coupled with a commitment where students of all ages in the community will be supported and encouraged to aspire to the highest achievement.
The Lyndon governing body has taken a pro-active stance, together with other stakeholders in generating more formally its vision and values.
Our Trust partners are totally committed to working with us as active partners in a learning society with our local cluster of schools and wider community
Watch the video below to see each of the Trust Partners and learn what they hope to gain from and give to the Trust Partnership.
