Lyndon School - Humanities College

Welcome back to school, I hope you had a lovely Christmas break and are looking forward to a really successful 2012.

This term is a big one for our Year 9 students who will be deciding what subjects they will be doing next year, also for our Year 11 students who are making their final steps before exams - good luck to you all.

So far the weather has been fairly kind to us, however, please make yourself aware of the arrangements should the snow arrive!  If there is to be a school closure we will put announcements on this website and on our telephone answerphone.  There will also be announcements on all the local radio stations such as 96.4 BRMB, as well as Solihull Council’s website: www.solihull.gov.uk.  Please check these for updates and if you don’t hear anything on these then Lyndon will remain open and your children should come into school.

Well done to all the students for a fantastic start to the Spring term, we hope to continue on the success of the last term.  Finally, thank you to all parents for the constant support for your children and the school, it really does make a difference.
Ms D. Fellowes
Head Teacher
